About Liam Keegan
Liam Keegan ( DJ alter-ego of Lo-Key Ltd. ) was born March 6th 1982 in Birkenhead, Wirral.
Liam's interest in music started at the young age of 12 when the hard-core clubbing scene was booming. He started mixing at 15 and by 17 years of age he was flawless.
Liam got his first pro DJ gig at a bar in Liverpool (Baa Bar). Since then he has had countless gigs traveling all over the UK, and to this day he has various guest & residency sets in some of the UK’s biggest clubs.
2003 was a big year for Liam as he progressed his musical talents into the production side where he has been fortunate enough to work with some of the UK’s hottest talent including Mike Discala (Ultra Beat), Hypersonic, Victoria Wilson James, and Lee Paul.
Today you would find Liam in his Lo-Key Ltd.’s home studio setup, working on numerous remixes and writing for various artists & labels, as well as developing and releasing his own productions across a variety of musical genres.
Liam’s mix of Victoria Wilson James’ first single, Yo’ Freek off her forthcoming double album compilation Indestructible has been selected to be the radio edit for the single and vinyl release. This radio edit has also been chosen for this release’s upcoming video.
Current and upcoming releases and productions include remixes for Avitas (Re-Creation), Victoria Wilson James (Yo’ Freek, Transcendental Rhythm, Change My Life), Vanity Project (Strange Behaviour ), Lee Paul, Shockwave (Here Comes the Rain Again), and Jordan Bailey ( Lover ).
Upcoming projects include the solo debut album project for Bailey produced entirely by Lo-Key Ltd. productions, as well as Lo-Key Ltd.’s own debut album featuring artists he ahs worked with over the last couple of years (due out in Spring 2007).
